| Is it hard to qualify to rent an instrument? |
If you are in Florida, Veritas can arrange rentals with another affiliate. If you are in a state other than Georgia or Florida, Veritas might still be able to arrange a rental for you, either through the link below or through another affiliate. Terms and conditions listed here are for Georgia, at our store and may vary some state by state (All rentals are for the Continental USA only.) | If my child loses interest, can I return the instrument? |
Yes. This is a month-to-month rental agreement.You are not obligated for any minimum rental term with the possible exception of a minimum that may be required due to a special introductory rate. However, you are always responsible for rent for the time you have the instrument, regardless of if the instrument is in use or not. In such cases, return it as soon as possible. |
| Will I ever own this instrument? |
Please keep in mind that maintenance fees do not apply towards purchase. Since interest charges are not normally charged by Veritas as IS done by many Band Rental Companies, you are NOT fighting an escalating selling price that increases as time goes on. If in extreme situations, an external collection agency is used to recover the instrument and/or collect back rent, interest charges may be added. If there's ever a problem, please let us know as soon as possible. |
| If my child wants to change instruments, can I exchange for another instrument? |
Yes. An exchange
can be done at any time during the rental agreement with no penalty. All rent credit can be transferred to the new instrument
if exchange is made within the first six months of the agreement. Only 6
months rent will apply to the purchase of another instrument if the exchange
is done later. (Stringed instruments may apply 12 months while changing sizes
in most cases.) Step-up instruments may qualify for more rent (up to 24 months)
to be transferred to them. Rent paid can not apply towards purchase of instruments not on the rental plan sold by Alinga Band & Music Supply like Guitars etc and in certain cases where rental instruments are offered at special non-rental cash prices. |
| How do I know if I am choosing a quality brand? |

| What if the instrument is not playing properly? |
All repairs
and maintenance are done FREE of charge under the M & R program. Just
bring it in to us and we will either repair it on the spot or we will provide
you with a loaner instrument (when available) while yours is being repaired
by our expert repair staff. This way your student
will not be without an instrument. Loaners might not be provided if an account
is delinquent. We do encourage students to learn to do basic maintenance
as they will have to be able to do it on their own in years to come.
Please be aware that in cases of abuse or neglect you may be required to pay for part or all of the repair. |
| Can I exchange towards a professional quality or a specialty instrument? |
| Yes. We Understand that as your student progresses middle school through high school their needs may change. We offer an extensive line of quality "step-up" instruments. |
| What if the instrument is damaged beyond repair or stolen? |
| Provided you
are paying the Maintenance and Replacement fee as part of your monthly payments,
upon approval of circumstances surrounding the incident by Veritas the instrument
will be replaced with one of equal value with only a small deductible charge.
